In this hands on health science course, students will explore how the body works through interactive activities, simple experiments, models, games, and real world-connections. We will learn about major systems including skeletal, muscular, respiratory, circulatory, digestive, nervous, endocrine, urinary, lymphatic & immune, and integumentary.
Student will discover how these systems work together to help us move, think, grow, heal and stay healthy. Each class includes hands-on learning designed to make science engaging, memorable, and fun.
Examine specimens under microscope
Learn to use a stethoscope and discover heart rates and rhythms
Build Body System Models (lungs, muscular)
Explore systems via games and experiments
Create a personalized Human Body Science Journal
Showcase semester projects during our final meeting/celebration.
All laboratory equipment and materials for class are included in pricing. Fees cover materials, space rental, and instruction.

Tuition: $75 deposit/1st month upon registration, October 3, and November 3 or can be paid in full at any time. The registration will prompt you to pay the first month’s cost $75 to hold your spot.
